• The Winter lab studies the chemical biology of host-microbe interactions. Focus areas of his research are metabolic interactions between the host and its microbiome in settings of gastrointestinal inflammation, such as enteric infections, inflammatory bowel disease, and colitis-associated colorectal cancer.
